our four step process
STEP 1 VACUUM
Often missed this step is vital to achieve all the desired clean carpet. Quite simply a domestic vacuum cleaner won't do the job well enough . A thorough vacuuming using a commercial machine and you could expect to pick up 80% of loose dirt deep in your carpets pile. The vacuum cleaner we use is the industry best and had 2 motors that power the brush and suction motor separately.
STEP 2 PRE-SPRAY
This is where the all important solutions are sprayed onto your carpets and absorbed only in the very top layer of your carpet, starting to break down the dirt and stains. Any problem areas may need a bit if extra to really get going. Again, at this stage it is really important that the right solutions are used. Many companies use solutions that are too alkaline or too acidic, this is where shrinkage, discolourations and health and safety issues occur. Here at Super steam clean we have been trained in understanding all the solutions we use and what's going to be best for you carpets. Off the shelf stain removers/carpet shampoo's do not compare and can often make cleaning worse. You will be amazed at the results.
Step 3 Agitation
This is where the magic happens!! The solution is worked into the carpet with a specialist machine thats helps breakdown any dirt / stains. This is done by 2 brushes that turn towards each other and also help lift the carpet fibres to give that brand new look and feel, and we have invested in the very best CRB carpet agitator. Here at super steam clean we cannot stress enough the importance of this step, and is where the majority of the cleaning happens.
Step 4 Extraction
This is the step that everybody is aware of, a carpet wand that simultaneously pumps out hot water onto the carpet and then sucks it up. Seems simple, it is when done correctly and professionally. Here at super steam clean we use a truckmount carpet cleaning machine - this means it stays in our vehicle and means we dont have to drag heavy equipment through your house, potentially creating a mess. Our aim is to make your experience as stress free as possible.
In summary if your carpets aren't getting professionally cleaned using the above 4 steps then they aren't getting cleaned properly. The market is full of business' who just spray and pray.....

frequently asked questions
How long will it take for my carpets to dry after treatment?
After steam cleaning your carpet or rug, it needs to dry out as quicky as possible. Just cleaned carpets should never stay damp for more than 24 hours, or microbial growth and odour can occur. With this in mind and using the latest equipment and techniques we estimate they will be dry in two to five hours.
Can you remove all stains?
There are a number of factors to consider, it primarily depend son how soiled your carpets are and pile thickness. Here at super steam clean we say if a stain can be removed we will remove it.
What should I do with my Furniture?
Our cleaners will happily move any furniture that does not require more than one person. We would kindly ask that you remove small objects and breakables before the cleaner arrives.
Can steam cleaning damage my carpet?
No. Hot water extraction is considered to be the best method for removing embedded soil and other contaminants. It is also the preferred cleaning method by the leading carpet manufacturers.
Are you INsured?
Yes – we have full Public Liability and Product Insurance.
What are the benefits of using a truck mounted carpet cleaning machine over a portable cleaning machine?
The benefits are numerous, to begin with a truck mount has more power than any portable machine could ever have. Truck mounted machines are run by a petrol engine so they carry their own power supply, a portable machine plugs into your domestic electricity supply and therefore is limited by this. The extra power translates to a much greater suction, which means more water is lifted from the carpets and they are left dryer than with a portable machine and therefore less risk of damaging your carpets with over wetting. The whole reason for hot water extraction is that the hot water breaks up the dirt/ dust in your carpets under high pressure and then is sucked back up with all the dirt – therefore not using enough water or leaving to much water down will leave your carpets dirty.
What is carpet agitation and what's the point of doing it?
Simply put, if your carpets aren’t being agitated, they aren’t being cleaned! Carpet agitation is where a mechanical brush (TM3 CRB Carpet Cleaning Machine) is run over your carpets to lift the pile and work the cleaning solution deep into the carpet pile, consider this like the spin cycle of your washing machine. Carpet agitation helps by lifting any loose pet/ human hair, dust and grime from deep with your pile and leaving it ready for the hot water extraction/ steam clean phase.
